| PRIVATE SICKNESS CERTIFICATE You may provide your employer with a Self-Certificate for the first seven days of any illness, unless you have been off work with an illness in the previous eight weeks. In this case, see your GP to discuss a free Statutory Sick Note ("Med 3"). Your employer cannot insist on a Doctor's Note if you are eligible to submit a Self-Certificate. |
